Club goals:
- To support the principles, objectives, and platform of the Republican Party and to help secure the election of all Republican candidates in the General Election and registered Republicans in non-partisan elections.
- To inform Timber Pines residents on issues relevant to local, state and national political processes and elections by promoting information interchange with knowledgeable guest speakers and distributing appropriate literature.
- To provide our members with opportunities for social interaction and discussion with fellow Republicans and political figures as well as with practical means for constructive interaction with all elements of government.
Club philosophy:
- That the only way to live free from foreign aggression is to maintain peace through strength.
- That the safety net for our seniors must be preserved for today’s beneficiaries as well as for the generations that follow.
- That students must be challenged to learn in a school environment that is safe for both students and teachers. Parents must be offered more opportunities for school choice.
- That Americans should keep more of what they earn through lower taxes and that tax policy should not suppress incentive by penalizing success.
- That the needs and rights of law-abiding citizens must take precedence over those of criminals.
- As our forefathers before us, that God was a major factor in the creation of this nation, and efforts to remove Him from society must be reversed.
Regular activities:
- The Club meets each month (not in July/August) – date, time and location can be found on our Events page. Meetings always include a guest speaker chosen from local, state and national political figures, government officials and subject experts. We also hold two or three fun social events during the year.
- To join the Republican Club of Timber Pines you must be registered as a Republican (your voter registration may be in another state), and reside at least part of the year in Timber Pines. “Snow Bird” members are very welcome.
